First — which version of Arc are you using?
Before resetting your password, it’s important to know which Arc product you use, as the steps are different.
- Arc Pathway (School / Early Years)
Your account was created by a school or nursery and you log in via a school-specific website or the Arc Pathway app.
- Arc at Home (Parents only)
You use the Arc at Home app, and your account is not linked to a school system. You sign in using your email address.
Arc Pathway (school or nursery accounts)
This applies if a school or early years setting created your account.
Resetting your password on the web
If you have forgotten your password (or want to change it), you can reset it and create a new one. To reset your password:
- Go to your school/nursery’s personalised URL which is usually in the format of settingname.arcpathway.com.

- Click on ‘Forgot/Reset Password’
- Type in your username and click ‘Email Link’
- If you have entered your username correctly in the page linked to above, you will receive an email from with a link from donotreply@arcpathway.com

- Open the email and click on the link in ‘Click here to reset your password’. If the link does not work, copy it from the URL bar and try paste it into another browser (Safari or Edge).
- Once this link is open, you will be prompted to enter your username and a new password. Click reset and log in with your new password!

Resetting your password in the Arc Pathway app (iOS / Android)
- Open the Arc Pathway app.

- Tap Forgot / Reset password.
- Enter your username.

- A one-time PIN will be sent to your email address.
- Enter the PIN in the app.

- Create a new password and log in.
🔐 The PIN is time-limited. If it expires, you can request a new one.
Arc at Home (parent app only)
The Arc at Home app is not connected to schools or nurseries.
Accounts are created and managed independently, and you always sign in using your email address (not a username).
Resetting your password in the Arc at Home app
- Open the Arc at Home app.
- Tap Forgot / Reset password.
- Enter your email address.
- A one-time PIN will be sent to that email.
- Enter the PIN in the app.
- Create a new password and log in.
If you see an error message
For Arc Pathway (school accounts)
- Double-check your username (no extra spaces)
- Make sure you are on the correct school website
- If you’re unsure of your username, contact your school or early years setting
For Arc at Home
- Make sure you’re using the same email address you registered with
- Check your junk or spam folder for the PIN email
