To add or edit locations you must be a ‘Organisation Manager (Full Access)’ user. For more information on access levels in Arc Pathway go to this article.
This is the locations tab, where you can add and edit locations.
This is the first place you should go, when setting up your early years setting. Each organisation should create at least one location

Adding a new location step by step
- To create a location, click the ‘add location’ button at the top right of the location dashboard.
- You’ll then be presented with the below screen. Ensure you add the name for the location in the ‘name’ field and the address for the location in the ‘location’ field.
- You can then add the logo for the location by clicking the ‘Select image for logo’ button. Select your logo (most common image formats supported), and move the bounding box so that your entire logo fits in.
You can use the scroll function on your cursor/mouse/trackpade to change the scale of the image. You can also rotate the image using the blue buttons below the logo box.
- Once you are happy with your logo, press the ‘create’ button.
- Your new location will now appear in the list of available locations.
Editing a location step by step
- To edit an existing location, click the ‘edit’ symbol next to the location you want to edit.
- You can edit the name, location and logo for any location in your organisation.
Deleting Locations
- To delete a location, go to the locations tab of the admin dashboard.
- Click the delete symbol next to the location you want to delete.
- You will then be asked for confirmation that you want to delete this location. Locations, once deleted, are not recoverable.
- Click delete to delete the location.
